As part of the £22 million of savings in this year’s budget Labour run Milton Keynes Council were proposing to cut the maintenance budget for play areas by 50% over the next three years.

This would have resulted in the closure of many Play Areas. The Lib Dems have got that stopped, at least for the next year.
